Dr. Siva Chan

Dr. Siva Chan graduated on the Dean’s Honours’ List from the School of Optometry, University of Waterloo, in 2001.  She gained invaluable experiences in ocular emergency management, pre-/post-op optometric management, and ocular drug use during her experience in Immokalee, Florida.  She is board certified by the Board of Examiners in Optometry in Canada, the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPA) in Canada, and the Treatment and Management of Ocular Diseases (TMOD) in the U.S.

Dr. Chan brings vast amount of knowledge into our office for she has worked along side with a cataract surgeon in Toronto, where she gained additional experience in performing post-cataract surgery follow-ups.  She is also an optometric associate of a physician’s office inside a busy multi-disciplinary clinic in Scarborough.  She co-manages and treats eye diseases along with the family doctors in the practice.  She especially enjoys examining young children and the elderly.

Dr. Chan is fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.  She enjoys quilting, drawing and craft-making.
